With the Quanta Q plus C – the world’s most powerful tri-wavelength tattoo removal laser

Whether your tattoo is technically poorly done, out of fashion, or if you simply feel it no longer reflects your personality, we can offer you the option to remove it without causing damage to your skin.

Laser Tattoo removal that is SAFE, EFFECTIVE and AFFORDABLE

We are proud to be one of the few clinics in the UK using the world leading Quanta Q Plus C Laser.

This laser is the most powerful tattoo removal platform available with 3 primary wavelengths to target all treatable colours including a Ruby Laser to remove green and blue ink.

Our technicians have undergone extensive training with Lynton Lasers (laser suppliers to the NHS) and Manchester University including Advanced Skin and Laser Applications and specific Tattoo Removal and IPL Training.

We use a Cryo Cooler to provide rapid, controllable and effective pain relief. This device delivers a jet of air at -30°C directly to the skin surface during tattoo removal and IPL treatments. It can be used before, during and after treatments to reduce treatment side effects such as swelling and discomfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are often asked many questions about tattoo removal, here are those most commonly asked. If you have any questions which do not appear in this list, please contact us.

Most people describe the sensation to be like an elastic band snapping on the skin. Whilst it may be a little uncomfortable most find it tolerable. It’s worth mentioning that each treatment is usually extremely quick with most tattoos being completed in minutes.

We also have a Cryo Cooler which is a special device used to reduce discomfort before, during and after treatment.

As a rule of thumb, minor tattoos (1 inch by 1 inch of ink) start at £40 per treatment and increase accordingly in line with size up to around £150 for an A5 size area of ink. To get an accurate quote, please book a consultation.

We can sometimes offer discounts for larger and multiple tattoos so please ask about this at your consultation to get the most affordable treatment.

There are many factors which affect how quickly a tattoo fades. For example, how well the clients immune system works to flush out the broken down ink particles, how deep the ink was placed within the skin, what colours of ink have been used and whether it was done professionally or not.

This means we never know exactly how many sessions are needed, though we generally find most people achieve complete removal between 8 – 15 treatments.

Our Quanta Q Plus C has 3 true wavelengths which can target all treatable colours of ink including dark inks, reds, greens and blues. We tend to find that green and blue inks are more stubborn and generally the last to go. It is possible to remove them with our Ruby wavelength though, and we have many examples of successful removal of multicoloured tattoos on our social media pages.

We appreciate that every clients ‘wants the tattoo gone yesterday’, but you have to remember it was designed to be there permanently. Tattoo removal is a process which takes time and multiple sessions, and can not be rushed. Realistically to treat without causing scarring or skin damage most tattoo removals take between 12 to 24 months. Leaving adequate healing time between treatments is key, and is something to keep in mind when thinking about tattoo removal, especially if you’re wanting it removed for a certain event like a wedding etc.

We have created an information booklet for anyone who would like to know more, please feel free to contact us and request a copy of this.
